When and Why Should You Change/Upgrade Components on Your Bike?
1. NECESSITY
If any part of your bike has been damaged or worn out beyond reasonable repair, it's highly inadvisable to continue using it for both safety and economical reasons. A defective component not only compromises your safety on the bicycle, but could also subject other parts to avoidable damage.
2. IMPROVEMENT
And we're talking about you, not just your bike. As you gain skills, experience and performance ability on your bike, you also demand more of your cycling equipment. Increased mileage, more difficult or technical terrain and other new variables in your riding style may present the need for more durable equipment designed specifically for your increased capabilities.
3. PERFORMANCE
If you race bikes, or habitually ride as if you've got a chasing pack behind you, you probably have a great appreciation for a wide variety of lightweight components designed to do one thing: help you go faster (or stop more efficiently and reliably in the case of brake systems).
Stop by or call to speak with a Cycle Sports staff member who will gladly help you decide what components fit your needs best.
